Can you pitch your startup in a few words?
Kidola is a service for the childcare professionals to simplify management and communication in daycare centers. Kidola adapts to the existing process to make your day to day easier.
Why did you decide to create this company?
All founders became parents around the same time and it got us interested in the childcare sector. One of us got regularly scolded for forgetting what happened during the day. We talked with a daycare about an idea and step by step Kidola was born.
What are your product(s)/service(s) and your business model?
Kidola offers an app to manage schedules, invoices, communication with parents and more. Our solution is available for a monthly subscription (SaaS business model). Kidola is not just a software, it’s a service: our support team is here every day to make sure our app makes a difference.
How is your offering different from your competitors and other market players?
Kidola wasn’t developed as an accounting solution first. Our original goal was to make the professional’s day to day easier. We kept that spirit while developing new features. Our app is easy to use and adapts to your way of working.
Why did you decide to join the Founders Club?
It’s always great to talk with other founders. No matter the background or the sector, we all face some similar issues. The regular meetings organized for the founders club is a great opportunity to get advice and help others with your own experience.
What’s next?
Our big focus right now is the french market. Kids are more or less the same in each country, but the regulations change. France has a really dynamic childcare sector with many public and private entities, and we already have some good traction!
