Dudelange is a city that believes in the entrepreneurial spirit, and encourages entrepreneurship. So it’s not for nothing that, since 2018, the southern locality hosts a startup incubator. Its name? The Innovation Hub! Don’t know it yet? Presentation.

Located in the former administrative headquarters of ArcelorMittal, at number 100 Route de Volmerange, the Innovation Hub specializes in hosting young companies active in a very specific field: that of ecotechnology (technologies that contribute to improving respect for the environment).

The choice of this theme is far from random: the incubator serves as a precursor to the future NeiSchmelz eco-neighborhood, which will be located just a few meters away. As a reminder, the latter will be CO2-neutral and will house housing, work spaces, shops and meeting areas within the next ten years.

Attracting tomorrow’s talent in a completely renovated infrastructure

The city, in collaboration with Luxinnovation and Technoport, has set itself a mission: to help the young start-ups present here to develop and grow in the best conditions. The idea is also to allow them to take advantage of their network to develop business opportunities.

To have an office in the Innovation Hub, each startup must present its project to the municipal authorities. Once accepted, it can then establish itself there for a period of 5 years, all under very advantageous conditions.
